Coach Patty Gasso and the Oklahoma softball team already own the longest winning streak in major college softball history at 62 games and counting, heading into play Friday at the Mary Nutter Collegiate Classic in California.

However, those Sooners have a ways to go to catch another NCAA record set elsewhere on the OU campus.

  • 137: Miami (Fla.) men’s tennis, 1957-64

  • 121: Oklahoma men’s gymnastics, 2015-19

  • 111: Connecticut women’s basketball, 2014-17

  • 92: North Carolina women’s soccer, 1990-94

  • 88: UCLA men’s basketball, 1971-74
