Where to get COVID vaccines or booster shots in Tarrant County over the next week
With the risk of COVID spread in Tarrant County rising this week, public health officials are urging residents to stay updated on vaccines ahead of winter. Below is a list of pop-up clinics for Oct. 15-21.
The risk of community spread is now at the medium level, up from low last week, Public Health Director Vinny Taneja told county leaders Tuesday. He attributed the increased risk to an uptick in COVID-related hospitalizations, but said cases should taper off.
Tarrant County Public Health hosts pop-up COVID-19 clinics across Tarrant County each week in partnership with public and private organizations, including community businesses and churches. Each pop-up clinic has the Moderna and Pfizer vaccines and at times the Johnson & Johnson. Boosters are available at all of the vaccination locations.
Children 5 years or older are eligible to get the vaccine. Bring proof of your child’s age as well as your own ID for the vaccination.
