Where’s new for brunch in Fort Worth? Fresh restaurants for Easter lunch or anytime

Fort Worth is full of new restaurants, but there is no question which one is stirring the most talk.

Bricks & Horses, the dining room inside the artsy-western Bowie House Auberge Resorts hotel, leads a long list of new restaurants serving Sunday brunch on Easter and beyond.

Bricks & Horses, 3700 Camp Bowie Blvd., has become known as home base for TV czar Taylor Sheridan’s film crews for Landman and other streaming shows.

No promises that you’ll bump into a Jon Hamm, Demi Moore or Billy Bob Thornton somewhere. But they’ve all been seen around town, particularly at the Bowie House.

For Easter, Bricks & Horses still has tables available for an all-day buffet starting at 9 a.m., with brunch dishes until 4 p.m. and a buffet continuing until 7 p.m.

The brunch menu includes lobster quiche, frittatas, eggs and waffles. The entire buffet adds leg of lamb, ham and roast chicken, oysters, shrimp cocktail and ceviche, plus sides and salads.

There’s a choice of desserts including coconut cream cake, strawberry shortcakes and lemon meringue tarts, plus carrot cake bars and banana pudding.

It’s $95; 682-786-6688, bricksandhorses.com.

Hudson House, the Fort Worth location of a popular Dallas restaurant, will serve its regular menu of burgers, chicken and New England-style oysters beginning at 11 a.m. Sunday.

What’s amazing is that at midweek, Hudson House still had a few tables available Sunday, particularly late afternoon.

It’s at 4600 Dexter Ave., on the corner at Camp Bowie Boulevard and Hulen Street; 682-207-4220, hudsonhousehp.com.

This is unusual, but the new Teddy Wong’s Dumplings & Wine shows some reservations available Easter Sunday.

Asian restaurants are always a good place to beat the crowd on Easter. Teddy Wong’s is the hottest ticket in town right now for Peking duck or a variety of dumplings, including soup dumplings.

It’s at 812 W. Rosedale St.; 817-349-8965, teddywongs.com.

Si Tapas Restaurant and Bar, the tapas favorite from Dallas, is open from 11 a.m. and serving its regular menu.

Le Margot, rated the No. 2 best new restaurant in Texas by Texas Monthly magazine, will be open for Easter brunch and may still have tables available early or late.

It opens at 10:30 a.m. for lunch and will close at 2 p.m. this Sunday; 100 S. Front St., Aledo, 817-913-0986, daynescraftbarbecue.com.

Ribbee’s obviously isn’t the place for a prayerful family brunch.

But if your faith involves barbecue, the new takeout rib stand from the owners of No. 1-rated Goldee’s will open regular Sunday hours at 11 a.m. Easter.

Ribbee’s is a rib shop in an old Sonic Drive-In at 923 E. Seminary Drive. For about $20, you get baby-back pork ribs one of four ways (original, spicy, sweet and hot-honey) or beef ribs.

All dinners come with slaw, fries and a homemade roll. instagram.com/ribbeestx.
