Location: 1720 13th St. SE

Description: A vacant lot at 13th Street SE and Rural Street SE is set to be transformed into an outpatient medical clinic.

According to city permit records, a Cascade Foot Center is planned for the site in south Salem.

The building would be 9,243 square feet and include multiple offices and exam rooms, an X-ray room and a laboratory.

Cascade Foot Center, a longtime podiatrist practice open since 1982, currently operates a clinic on 3473 Liberty Road S.

Clinic officials said they will move from the Liberty location to the larger 13th Street location once it opens next year.
