For a taste of the authentic Indian cuisine, the Curry Pot in Wooster is available for lunch and dinner featuring tandoori specials, soups, salads and a variety of vegan/vegetarian entrees.

A Tandoor is a large vase-shaped oven usually made of clay. Tandoors have been used to bake unleavened flatbreads such as roti and naan, as well as slow-roasting meats like lambchops and chicken.

Tandoori specials are slow-cooked, so diners can expect a slightly longer wait for those orders.

Open for lunch 11 a.m.-2 p.m. daily except for Tuesdays, the the Curry Pot offers lunch box specials of butter chicken, vegetable korma or chana masala.

Curry Pot also offers a buffet dining.

The spice levels vary from mild and medium to spicy and extra spicy. Entrees are marked vegan (V), vegetarian (Veg), gluten free (GF) and dairy free (DF) on the menu.

Evenings, the Curry Pot serves 5-9 p.m., again, it is closed Tuesdays.
