Western Kentucky wide receiver Malachi Corley picked in 2024 NFL Draft

Western Kentucky wide receiver Malachi Corley was the first player from the commonwealth selected in the 2024 NFL Draft.

Corley was picked No. 65 overall in the third round Friday by the New York Jets.

What kind of player is he? Corley is a strong, physical receiver who excels at yards after catch. During the last two years, Corley racked up 180 receptions for 2,279 yards and 22 touchdowns — earning all-conference honors both seasons.

Highlights: In 2023, against Louisiana Tech, Corley recorded eight receptions for 208 yards and three touchdowns.
