A long-awaited Buffalo Wild Wings opened Monday in Green Township, joining two other recently opened restaurants and opening new dining options on the West Side.

Franchisees focused on a large design at the new location at 4801 N. Arborwoods Drive in Dent. Indoor seating holds 285 patrons and an additional 90 in covered outdoor seating. More than 260 parking spots will accommodate the restaurant, including a half-dozen electric vehicle charging stations.

It's opening just in time for Free Wings Day. People can redeem six free boneless or traditional wings at Buffalo Wild Wings from 2-5 p.m. local time. The offer is available for dine-in and in-person takeout only. No purchase is necessary, and the offer is limited to one free order per customer.

Two other West Side restaurants have opened in Green Township so far this year.

Strong's Brick Oven Pizzeria

Strong's Brick Oven Pizzeria opened its sixth location this month in Mack, its first on the West Side. The local pizza chain's building at 6166 Bridgetown Road formerly housed West Side favorite Kenning's Circle K, which closed its doors in 2022.

Clean Eatz Cafe also opened on the West Side

A new Clean Eatz Cafe franchise opened at 5770 Harrison Ave. earlier this year. It shares a parking lot with the Manchester Plaza shopping center and is focused on healthy options like weekly meal plans, grab-and-go meals and dine-in meals.

Will Cincinnati's West Side get an Olive Garden?

Rumblings of a possible Olive Garden location haven't let up since the news got out in 2019 that the Italian food chain was interested in opening a West Side franchise. Township administrator Frank Birkenhauer said the chain is still interested in the Harrison Avenue corridor, but it's a matter of finding the right spot.
