When the puffers and peacoats are stored away and the scarves and gloves are tucked deep back into the closet, what do you start bringing out for spring? It’s not yet warm enough to go sleeve-free, but you definitely need something a little lighter for when the sun starts to shine a little stronger.
We’ve gone through numerous spring jackets in the past, but for this year, we specifically have our eye on a certain shacket from Amazon. Shackets are a great way to elevate any outfit and stay in style, and they’re the perfect weight for this in-between season. This one also happens to be on sale right now!
We knew we needed this shirt jacket straight away, as it combines a couple of our favorite trends ever. It has denim jacket vibes, making it timeless, plus plaid flannel panels in front and on the upper back for a little extra warmth and a cool look! Add in the relaxed fit of the shacket and you have a really incredible piece!
This shacket has a button-up placket, plus a button flap pocket on both sides of the chest and button cuffs at the ends of the long sleeves. Fold the sleeves up or leave them long! This piece also comes in eight colors, so you don’t necessarily have to stick with blue. On top of the two blue denim washes, you can choose from black, grey, brown, green, pink and white!
One of the reasons shackets have become such a staple is, apart from being inherently cute, they can be worn in all different ways. As we mentioned, you can replace your outerwear this one on a sunny yet breezy day, layering it over a tee and jeans or even a dress and tights. You could also tie it around your shoulders or your waist if you’re warm!
You can also simply wear this piece as your top, buttoning it up partially or up to the neck and slipping on anything from biker shorts to leggings underneath. This is the type of piece you can wear for a completely casual hangout or even wear for a night out with heels on your feet.
