Who Went Home on 'Bachelor' Week 2 after Woman Throws Wedding Cake?

ABC

Joey Graziadei’s The Bachelor contestants went wild on episode 2.

Two women argued over ageism, while another threw a cake!

The handsome tennis pro, 28, had to whittle his group down even further after sending 10 women home on the premiere episode.

The second episode began with cameras showing Lauren, part of a sister act with Allison, flinging a cake on the ground in disgust.

But it was just a flash forward tease—so fans had to stick around to find out what the drama with Lauren was all about.

Host Jesse Palmer told the 22 remaining women that there would be two group dates and one one-on-one.

Who went on the first group date?

Rachel, Taylor, Kelsey T., Lexi, Evalin, Erika, Maria, Lauren and Jess were chosen for the first date with Joey.

What happened on the first group date?

“Here comes the bride” was the theme, as the ladies donned wedding gowns and all pretended to be marrying Joey.

They raced each other to the dress racks and picked their bridal looks.

After Maria said she was missing her dad while doing The Bachelor, Lauren moaned, “My dad passed really recently,” and started crying in the car.

At Hummingbird Nest Ranch, a wedding venue in Simi Valley, California, Joey greeted his “brides,” who were pretending they were at their reception with Joey.

Only one woman, however, would get a “first dance” with him.

They played a game of musical chairs. All the girls wanted the seat next to Joey and when the music stopped, Evalin vaulted over the table, landing on top of Lauren, who already had the prime position.

But Lauren said thinking about her dad’s death had given her a “weird vibe” and she didn’t speak with Joey.

Joey and Jess discovered they were both left-handed and smooched in front of the others while they ate cupcakes.

The Bachelor also connected with Rachel and she performed a flawless “toast” as though they had just been married.

She told him she’d slip into something more comfortable and came back in a black midriff-baring lacy outfit that was fit for the bedroom!

Joey’s eyes popped.

“I like you,” Maria said, kissing him.

The other gals weren’t happy when they saw her sexy ensemble.

Who got the first group date rose on The Bachelor tonight?

In their private time together, Jess told Joey in her previous relationship “there was infidelity” by her boyfriend.

Since then, she had built up her confidence.

Joey was sympathetic, telling Jess he had felt like he had to change himself in a previous relationship.

Who got Joey’s first one-on-one date tonight?

Daisy, who looks like a frontrunner, won the honor and told the other women about her hearing loss.

“I’ve only been on one date since I got my cochlear implant,” she said, and was determined to finally tell Joey about her condition.

As she readied for their date, she said, “I’m discovering new sounds every day. There are going to be times I struggle.”

Daisy was worried when she learned the date would be a helicopter ride with Joey.

She wondered if she’d be able to hear him during the journey over the sights of Southern California, but luckily, found out she could.

They were choppered to the Beach Life Ranch Festival and Daisy told Joey she’d shifted from software sales to nonprofit work, but didn’t say what it was.

The singer Bahamas performed for them and they danced onstage together.

Later, during a sit-down dinner, Daisy told Joey, “A life with me is probably going to look a little different than with any other girl in the house. So, when I was 11, I started having these stroke-like seizures. They didn’t really know why. When my siblings would get sick, if I would get what they got, I would be ten times sicker.”

By age 17, she said, “I woke up to my dad waking me up and I realize I couldn’t hardly hear that well. And then…my hearing like kept getting worse, communicating was really hard for me. It was super isolating. I kept getting sick on and off and it got to the point where I didn’t feel good at all, ever. I could barely walk a block. I spent a lot of time in bed. I moved back home with my parents and I didn’t think my life was going to get better. I didn’t think I was gonna ever feel better and then I found out that I had Lyme disease. So I ended up going to Germany and I did a treatment there in a hospital for 30 days. I had tubes going into my throat, so you can see like some of the scars right there,” she said, showing Joey her neck.

“I lost a ton of my hair. I lost 15 pounds in like five days. So it’s been pretty wild but after I did that treatment, I felt way better and I was really healthy and that’s the important thing but my hearing kept getting worse.”

Daisy told Joey the reason she could communicate with him was because of her miracle cochlear implant. But, she explained, “If I can’t see your face, it’s going to be really hard for me to understand what you’re saying.”

Who got Joey's one-on-one date rose?

He asked her if she’d had health problems since her recovery and she said she was now really healthy.

The Bachelor star told cameras Daisy was special, as she’d taken health struggles and “turn them into a positive.”

Daisy showed Joey her implant and told him how it stimulated her brain. “It’s always going to be part of me,” she said.

Joey called her inspiring with how she wanted to help other people through her nonprofit related to hearing loss.

The tennis pro told the blonde beauty that her news made her “more interesting, more impressive.”

Daisy was thrilled, “Are you real?”

He told her, “It’s a lot that you’ve been though,” and handed her the date rose.

She said, “I haven’t felt this way about somebody in a long time.”

Who went on the second group date?

Allison, Autumn, Chrissa, Edwina, Jenn, Katelyn, Kelsey A, Lea, Madina, Marlena, Starr and Sydney were chosen for the second date with Joey.

What happened on the second group date?

As Parade.com previously reported, 10 women participated in a Bachelor boot camp as Joey appeared shirtless.

Two teams ultimately faced off in a paint battle in which the prize was extra time with Joey. The blue team won thanks to Edwina’s athletic ability, but the ladies were disappointed to learn that only one woman would get private time with the star.

Edwina won the coveted award, and talked to Joey in his hotel room.

What went wrong back at the mansion?

Madina, 31, told the others she felt the pressure of being “the oldest person here.”

Maria, 29, dismissed her concern and said, “a lot of us are older than Joey,” who is 28.

She also told Lauren privately it was ridiculous that Madina thought she was old.

Sydney said in confessional, “Maria was talking s--t. Joey needs to know!”

Later, Taylor told Maria that Madina felt like she had “downplayed her feelings” about age.

Maria said that she was worried about the drama and had a private chat with Madina.

Maria stressed that she had meant, “I’m old, too.”

But Madina was waiting to talk to Joey and told Maria cryptically, “There is more to the story.”

In front of the others, Sydney then told Maria she’d been condescending.

“Her feelings are valid,” Sydney said of Madina.

Maria protested, “I would never age shame her!” and considered it “the dumbest fight in Bachelor history.”

Why did Lauren quit The Bachelor?

“I’m freaking out,” Lauren told Joey, and abruptly added, “So I’m gonna go home.”

Joey told cameras he was surprised.

“I feel terrible,” he said. “I’m sorry if I did anything.”

Producers gave Lauren a parting cake from the earlier wedding shoot, but after she took a bite of it, she threw the rest of it on the ground! “It’s not red velvet,” she complained.

Her sister Allison cried to the cameras that Lauren had been her support system, but she had self-eliminated.

What happened at the rose ceremony tonight?
