Desi Gallegos has joined Price Land Development Group as director of construction. Gallegos brings more than 20 years of construction management experience to this newly created position at Price, including senior project management experience of multi-million-dollar projects for globally recognized clients. Most recently, Gallegos served as senior project manager for an Oregon-based consulting group. Before that, he was in Utah, managing projects in the high-tech industry. Before his work in Utah, he managed builds in Arizona, Virginia, Nevada, Oregon and Washington. Price Land Development Group is a consultancy and development company specializing in acquisition, entitlement and development of residential communities as well as residential and mixed-use master plans in New Mexico.

The Santa Fe Association of REALTORS has announced its 2023 award winners:

Realtor of the year — Drew Lamprich. Lamprich serves as qualifying broker for Sotheby's International Realty and served as SFAR's president. The Realtor of the Year award is one of the highest honors given to a Realtor.

Lifetime Achievement award — Baryalai Shalizi. Shalizi received the Realtor of the Year award in 2005 and has served in numerous volunteer capacities within state, local and national Realtor associations. Shalizi served as president of the Santa Fe Association of REALTORS.

Rising Star of the Year award — Kevin Britt, a Realtor affiliated with Coldwell Banker Mountain Properties. Britt serves on the association's Technology Committee.

Michaelann Perea Community Services Award — Caroline Russell, affiliated with Sotheby's International Realty. Russell was recognized for her work raising funds for charities.

Affiliate of the Year award — Kelly McReynolds. McReynolds has provided professional title and escrow services for more than five years and is currently affiliated with Guardian Mortgage.

Years of Service award — Aggie Chavez. Chavez retired in December 2023, after more than 20 years at the association. Her last position was as SFAR's professional services director.

The University of New Mexico Anderson School of Management has announced its Hall of Fame's 35th class. The Hall of Fame program celebrates Anderson alumni who have achieved professional success, made significant contributions to their community, show ongoing commitment to education and serve as role models to those who come after them. The honorees are:

Stephen Griego — chief executive officer and president of DMC Logistics and AeroLynx.

Kathryn Lueders — Starbase general manager for SpaceX. Lueders began her career with NASA at the White Sands Test Facility in 1992. During her 30 years with NASA, she became the first female associate administrator, where she ran the Human Exploration and Operations Mission Board and later the International Space Station.

Shannon Rainosek — chief executive officer of Frontier and Golden Pride Restaurants. Rainosek grew up working alongside her parents in their Albuquerque-based family businesses.

Young Alumni Award — Michael Duruaku, director of sales for Blue Buffalo. Duruaku is a two-time Anderson graduate.

Presbyterian Healthcare Foundation has announced four mew board members. The new members are:

Andrew Baca — chief executive officer, of Abba Technologies. Baca has served the Albuquerque Hispano Chamber of Commerce, the New Mexico Small Business Investment Council, the United Way of North Central New Mexico Board and the National Hispanic Cultural Center Foundation.

Dr. Glen Delaney — Presbyterian Medical Group. Delaney is the founding medical director of Presbyterian Healthcare Service's first PresNow location in Albuquerque.

Kate Barone Dimock — principal, Dekker Perich Sabatini. Dimock has volunteered with TEDxABQ, Meals on Wheels and CREW New Mexico. She has also served on the Board of New Mexico Evaluators.

Adrian Perez — president, Heritage Hotels and Resorts, Inc. Perez is past chair of the National Hispanic Cultural Center Foundation. His board service includes Albuquerque Hispano Chamber of Commerce, New Mexico Lodgers' Board, Visit Albuquerque Board of Directors, Governor's Board on Tourism, Association of Industry and Commerce, Executive Board for the New Mexico Multi-cultural Foundation, Kimo Board and several national hospitality boards.
