Weimaraner Who Sits Just Like a Human Is Cracking People Up

You might feel like your dog is one of the family, but is your dog like one of your dinner guests? That's the question that we're sure one woman was asking herself when she came down to dinner recently and found her dog doing the strangest thing at the dinner table.

Hilariously, this isn't the first time that the Weimaraner has done this. But it's still totally strange to his mama anyway.

Frederica must have been really confused the first time it happened. It's not everyday that you come downstairs and your dog is sitting on a chair like a human. It's almost like her Weimaraner, Gray, was going to be eating dinner with her.

"I just came downstairs and my dog is seated and ready to eat," she said from behind the camera in the clip. "She knows that my mom is cooking. The table is set. So he took a seat," she joked.

We guess Mom should've made enough food for one more. Gray was such a good boy that he sat with Frederica and her sister the entire meal. The poor little guy just wanted to be included!

The perfect dinner guest does exist — and many people in the comments section thought that perfect guest was Gray. "He’s like 'so how was everybody’s day?'" joked one commenter. "His look on his face says 'well obviously it’s dinner time,'" another person teased. "Gray acts like humans are the pets," a third person chimed in.

Weimaraner Diet

Much to Gray's disappointment, casserole isn't exactly part of his diet. Weimaraners were originally bred to hunt and are very athletic, so they need a diet specifically to keep them in tip top shape. Focus on giving your Weimaraner a high protein, low carb diet, which will keep them lean and muscular.

As for Gray, Frederica noted that lots of people thought she should put his food on the table so he can have dinner. So in a follow up video she gave it a try.

She sat her pup down and then placed his dog bowl in front of him. Then she left him alone to see what he would do. The results were... a whole lot of nothing. Gray didn't even look at the food! It seems more likely that Gray just wants to be one of the girls, or as one commenter put it: "He's literally only interested in hearing the tea." Who could blame him for that?
