This weekend, magical unicorns will take over Miami Beach. Here’s how to see them

Hey, unicorn fans (we know there are a lot of folks out there), have we got an activity for you: Unicorn World is headed to Miami Beach this weekend.

Kicking off Friday and running through Sunday at the Miami Beach Convention Center, this “immersive, interactive” popup is dedicated to the legendary horse-like animal with a single horn.

“Come prance and play,” reads UW’s Instagram page, with pictures full of delighted kids posing with life-size animatronic versions of the mythological creatures. “And enjoy a magical day.”

Unlike the dearly departed influencer magnet that was the Unicorn Factory in Wynwood (a one-stop shop for colorfully sexy selfies), this three day event is geared more toward the Romper Room crowd who doesn’t know what the word “hashtag” means.

UW was conceived by Knoxville, Tennessee couple Lauren and Patrick Mines who noticed a dearth of unicorny entertainment while searching for activities to do with their son and daughter last year.

“It’s just been so fun to see how creative this can be and imaginative and fun and just dive into that for kids,” Lauren Mines told Knox News.

What to expect from your visit: Walk through the rainbow arches into an enchanted forest, then fairy village, where you can pose up a storm. There are also other areas dedicated to arts and crafts and face painting, a dance floor with live DJ, a bounce house and even “stables,” where the way realistic looking unicorns lay their horns.

Trivia: These fellas don’t snore, they neigh.
