Wednesday's high school results: Massillon boys beat Northwest in shootout at Hoosier Gym

KNIGHTSTOWN, INDIANA — The Massillon and Northwest boys basketball teams lit up the scoreboard inside an iconic gym.

Chris Knight hit six 3-pointers and scored 29 points to lead Massillon past Northwest 102-85 on Wednesday at Hoosier Gym, site of the 1980s movie "Hoosiers."

The Tigers (6-0) jumped out to 54-45 halftime lead and outscored Northwest 28-14 in the third quarter to take control.

Ian Ziegler finished with a game-high 31 points for Northwest.

LOUISVILLE 62, TALLMADGE 51 Hayden Nigro and Ashton Marshall scored 15 points apiece to help lead Louisville to a win at the Tallmadge Winter Classic. Brayden Gross finished with 14 points and Tate Aljancic added 10 for the Leopards (8-1), who have won seven in a row.
