Here are all the ways you can celebrate Veterans Day in Middle Georgia
Veterans Day is this Friday, and Middle Georgia has a variety of events celebrating service. There will also be several offices closed for the holiday.
Macon-Bibb County’s offices will be closed for Veterans Day Friday. Bibb and Houston County schools are also closed.
Warner Robins Veterans Day Breakfast and Ceremony
While the parade has been canceled due to inclement weather, the city of Warner Robins is still hosting a Veterans Day breakfast and ceremony. Veterans can register for the breakfast online.

GMC Veterans Day Parade
Georgia Military College is hosting its own parade celebrating veterans The parade has been moved inside due to inclement weather.

Macon-Bibb and Middle Georgia State Veterans Day Ceremony
MGA and Bibb County teamed for the seventh iteration of their Coleman Hill ceremony. The service will honor all veterans and feature Mayor Lester Miller and MGA President Christopher Blake.

Museum of Aviation Veterans Day events
The Museum will be open Friday and feature free admission, along with the chance to talk to a veteran and hear their stories from 1-3 p.m.

Veterans Day Gala
Suffered in Silence is hosting their first Veterans Day Gala on Friday. Their website invites guests to “dance the night away” at the new event.

Veterans Day Road Race
One of the biggest road races in Macon is back for another year, as the Veterans Half Marathon is on in Perry this Friday. The race also features a mile race and 5K race.

Veterans Celebration Fun Run
Macon/Gray is also hosting road races for Veterans Day, though they don’t offer a half marathon. The event will feature a 5K and one-mile Fun Run.

Veterans Salute and Flag Retirement Ceremony
Fort Hawkins will host a Veterans Day ceremony featuring Jim Crisp, former director of Theatre Macon.
