Waterloo Premium Outlets gets new name, revamped look

Waterloo Premium Outlets in Seneca County has been renamed.

The shopping center on Route 318 in Waterloo will be known as Finger Lakes Premium Outlets as of Friday. The new name "will better reflect the region and complement the other attractions in the area," according to a news release.

The property, which features more than 100 outlet stores, also received an updated, more modern look as well as new pylon and monument signs.

“We’re excited to debut our new, revamped look at Finger Lakes Premium Outlets,” said Jennifer Dombrowski, General Manager, Finger Lakes Premium Outlets. “As one of the main destinations in the area, we look forward to welcoming shoppers to the Finger Lakes region for an elevated shopping experience.”

Among the outlet stores in the complex are the Nike Factory Store, Polo Ralph Lauren, Brooks Brothers Factory Store, Adidas Clearance, H&M, Banana Republic, Carter's and Coach. Under Armour and Puma recently moved to larger storefronts within the shopping center.

"For nearly three decades, the outlet mall has been recognized as one of the premier shopping experiences in the Finger Lakes,” Jeff Shipley, President and CEO of the Seneca County Chamber of Commerce. said in a news release. “As the Finger Lakes Premium Outlets continues to evolve as a center for commerce and activity, its new name reflects the role that the local community has as a regional gateway for both visitors and residents alike.”

The outlet is open daily - opening at 10 a.m. daily and closing at 8 p.m. Mondays through Saturdays and at 6 p.m. on Sundays.
