Worn by Michelle Obama: How one nun has impacted the world of fashion

A nun from Mount Mary University in Milwaukee has had a huge impact on the world of fashion. A student of the University, Donna Ricco created a dress worn by Michelle Obama in 2008 that sold out as soon as it was identified, and this is just one influential designer to come from the school.

Sister Aloyse Hessburg has been part of the University for many years, helping to start the fashion program in 1965. She immersed herself in design, "I went to New York shows," she said, "in the habit!"

Sister Hessburg's cardinal rule? "Is it wearable?" Modesty is always in style at Mount Mary University, and it's clearly working for them. Watch the video above for more!
