Victoria's Secret Fashion Show to debut 3D printed technology on Angel Lindsey Ellingson
Tonight, at the 69th Regiment Armory in New York City, 40 of the most beautiful women (dare we say, on earth) will be strutting their stuff for the 18th Victoria's Secret Fashion Show. Every year, Swarovski has been adding a little sparkle to the celebrated catwalk by exclusively providing the lavish crystals that adorn the costumes. While 20 looks will be adorned with Swarvoski this year, they took things one step further by creating a 3D printing for the runway.

Swarovski along with Victoria's Secret approached world-leading 3D printing company, Shapeways to commission the piece for this year's show. It was designed to precisely fit Lindsay Ellingson from a 3D scan of her form. Next, 3D computer printing technology was used to create the geometric filigree characteristics of the design's snowflake motif that will be encrusted with millions of illuminating Swarovski crystals.

Check out the EXCLUSIVE behind-the-scenes video and make sure you tune into the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show on Tuesday, December 10th at 10/9C on CBS.
