Donna Karan has built her world-famous brand by concentrating on the everyday needs of women on the go. Karan began her career creating American sportswear at Anne Klein, and in 1985, with the help of husband and business partner Stephan Weiss, Karan founded her own signature label, introducing her landmark "seven easy pieces" concept.
