Watch video of Sharon Lake getting drained for dredging

Sharon Lake is almost empty.

Great Parks of Hamilton County shot this time-lapse video and announced that "the draining is nearing completion."

Around the clock, water on the 35-acre lake has been gushing out, part of an $11.4 million restoration effort to dredge and ultimately preserve the popular fishing and boating destination in the heart of Sharon Woods park north of Cincinnati.
