How to Watch the Third and Final Republican Primary Debate Online

Five Republican presidential candidates will gather in Miami on Wednesday night for the third and final primary debate. Broadcasting on NBC, the debate is the first of the primary campaign to air on national television, although cable-cutters can still stream the whole thing live on streamers such as DirecTV and Sling.

The five-candidate stage — consisting of Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, former South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley, businessman Vivek Ramaswamy, Sen. Tim Scott of South Carolina and former New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie — makes Wednesday night’s event the smallest Republican primary debate since February 2016.
North Dakota Gov. Doug Burgam and former Arkansas Gov. Asa Hutchinson will be absent from the stage after failing to meet the new polling and fundraising criteria set by the Republican National Committee. The RNC raised the threshold to qualify for each debate. To participate in Miami, candidates had to show at least 4 percent support in two national polls and prove that they had at least 70,000 unique donors.
“Skipping the next debate isn’t going to stop us,” Burgum posted in a statement on X. “I’ve been told, it’s impossible’ my entire life and will always beat the odds.”
Also missing from the debate stage will be former Vice President Mike Pence who suspended his campaign last month. Former President Donald Trump, the polling front-runner for the nomination, will once again skip the showdown and will instead make an appearance at a campaign rally in Hialeah, Florida the following week.
