Sunday’s Cy-Hawk dual at Hilton Coliseum in Ames will be the first-ever regular season wrestling dual televised on the ESPN flagship channel, marking a historic day for college wrestling.

Both the Hawkeyes (2-0) and Cyclones (3-0) are undefeated in duals this season, with Iowa taking down Oregon State and Iowa State defeating Wisconsin last weekend. Both teams have been plagued by the state’s gambling probe, which led to several talented wrestlers losing their NCAA eligibility.
