Tennessee coach Rick Barnes graciously took time out to sit and discuss his Texas basketball tenure, including some untold stories about his former assistant Rodney Terry with On Second Thought hosts Kirk Bohls and Cedric Golden before the tournament.

Barnes replaced Tom Penders at Texas in 1999 and coached for 17 seasons and won a school record 402 games. Texas won at least 20 games in 15 seasons, including a streak of 13 straight from 2000 to 2012.

The Horns also captured Big 12 titles in 1999, 2006 and 2008 and the lone Final Four in the modern era in 2003.
