Duke faces its third Big Ten opponent of the young basketball season and, no, the Blue Devils aren’t seeking a new home in the Midwest.

Though the Big Ten keeps adding teams from one coast to another these days, Duke is on a early Big Ten binge because it played Purdue in the Phil Knight Legacy tournament in Oregon followed by Wednesday’s 81-72 win over Ohio State at Cameron Indoor Stadium.

After trouncing Boston College, 75-59, in the ACC opener at Cameron on Saturday it’s back to the Big Ten for one more regular-season game.

Iowa (6-1) is off to a strong start, and received enough AP Top 25 poll votes to finish one spot out of the poll.

No.15 Duke (8-2) has won two straight games since its loss to Purdue on Nov. 27.

A solid defensive team this season, the Blue Devils will have to contend with Iowa’s 6-8 forward Kris Murray, who averages 21 points and 10-6 rebounds per game.
