'The Masked Singer' judges during Season 10's "Disco Night"

After a Turkey Day break, The Masked Singer returns this Wednesday for its final stretch of episodes. After not seeing them since Week 3, the final members of Group A return to the stage for "Disco Night." And they hope their disco inferno isn't snuffed out any time soon, with only one spot in the semifinals up for grabs.

Of course, the competition winnowing down brings more clues about the 9 remaining masks left in the hunt for the Golden Mask Trophy. And for judge Nicole Scherzinger, one throwaway line from Gazelle has her mind spinning.

The sneak peek clip above shows Gazelle talking to Scherzinger following her "Disco Night" performance. "Hey Nicole," she says through the show's trademark voice modifier. "Just like you, I hold the islands close to my heart."

This provokes a big reaction from Scherzinger. Gazelle's line is clearly referencing her home state of Hawaii. And so, when talking through her guesses, her mind immediately goes to fellow native of the island state in Moana actress Auliʻi Cravalho. She also throws out the name of Vanessa Hudgens, whose mother comes from the Phillippines.

However, despite thinking of "How Far I'll Go" singer, this line of guessing only goes so far. Scherzinger goes on to bring up that, in her Episode 3 clue package, Gazelle had mentioned losing someone a few weeks before her wedding. And neither Cravalho nor Hudgens have ever been married. For what it's worth, Masked Singer fans have clocked Gazelle as Pretty Little Liars actress Janel Parrish, who was also born in Hawaii.
