Watch: Netflix trailer showcases new documentary on Dallas Cowboys cheerleaders

Dallas Cowboys fans can get excited about a new documentary coming to Netflix all about Cowboys cheerleaders, affectionately known as America’s Sweethearts.

On Thursday, Netflix premiered the trailer on YouTube, which showed close-ups of the team’s iconic cheerleader uniforms alongside women adorning said uniform with a voice-over explaining how it can be euphoric to be a Cowboys cheerleader because of the fan support.

The documentary is titled “America’s Sweethearts: Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders,” and is directed by Greg Beck Whiteley who also directed popular sports documentaries “Last Chance U,” and “Cheer,” among others.

An exact date for the show’s premiere was not given but Netflix said the documentary would come this summer.
