Watch this milestone TD throw by Raiders’ Derek Carr to his best friend Davante Adams

Derek Carr notched his 200th career touchdown.

And that milestone throw went to best friend and former Fresno State teammate Davante Adams.

On fourth-and-1 in the first quarter Monday night, Carr went under center, dropped back and lofted the ball to Adams, who secured the catch and ran into the end zone as Las Vegas took an early 7-0 lead.

Adams then threw the ball into the stands.

Perhaps, Carr would have wanted the ball as a keepsake, but he’ll probably forgive Adams for that.

The 200th touchdown by Carr came in his 132nd game. He is the 19th QB in NFL history to reach 200 passing TDs in that few career games or less.

“That’s crazy,” Carr said. “I didn’t know that until you told me. I’d rather win. I’d rather have 200 wins and no touchdowns; I can promise you that. I’ve been doing it long enough that eventually we’re going to get there. I’m happy about it and thankful. I’m always thankful. You’re never going to see me disregard that stuff, but I’d much rather just win than get that. There’s a lot of hard work that goes into it, so I’m thankful for it. To throw it to Davante is special. That’s cool.”

Darren Waller injured

Raiders tight end Darren Waller left in the first quarter with what was said to be a hamstring injury.

He is now out of the game as he returned to the sidelines and not in uniform in the second half.

Waller went to the locker room before halftime.

Waller missed several games last season because a strained IT band suffered against the Dallas Cowboys on Thanksgiving.
