How to watch Louisville volleyball vs. Western Michigan in 2nd round of NCAA Tournament

Louisville volleyball beat Wright State in four sets, 22-25, 25-18, 25-20, 25-20, on Thursday night at the KFC Yum! Center to advance to the second round of the NCAA Tournament. The Cardinals will face Western Michigan on their home court Friday at 7 p.m. for a chance to advance to the Pittsburgh regional.

It will be the eighth all-time meeting between U of L and the Broncos. Western Michigan leads the series, 4-3. Louisville has won the last three, beating the Broncos in four sets when the two last met in 2003.

Making its first NCAA Tournament appearance since 2014, Western Michigan started postseason play by upsetting No. 7 seed Auburn in three sets, 25-18, 25-17, 25-19, at the Yum! Center on Thursday night.

The Broncos entered the tournament on a 20-match winning streak.

Senior Logan Case, the MAC Player of the Year, and Andelyn Simkins, the Defensive Player of the Year, were the clear-cut stars in their match against Auburn. Case had 44 assists and Simkins finished with 25 digs.

Western Michigan is led by Colleen Munson, who was named the MAC Coach of the Year.
