How to watch, live updates: Vermont men's basketball hosts Colgate

The University of Vermont men's basketball team's final home game of the calendar year offers another intriguing test.

Off to their best start through 10 games since the 1956-57 season, the Catamounts (8-2) welcome Colgate (5-4) to Patrick Gym in a matchup of conference preseason favorites.

Game time is 2 p.m. at Patrick Gym (see below for streaming and radio info and live game updates).

The three-time defending Patriot League champion Colgate Raiders were picked to win their conference again in the preseason poll. In their previous two games, Colgate lost to No. 2 Arizona 82-55 and then walloped Vermont State University-Lyndon 115-37.

The Catamounts, the America East Conference favorites, rallied at Northeastern 73-71 on Wednesday night behind TJ Long's clutch 23-point performance. Vermont played without starters Matt Veretto (eye) and Shamir Bogues (ankle/foot), who remain day-to-day with their injuries.
