The funeral of the Four Tops' Duke Fakir took place at 11 a.m. at Detroit's Hartford Memorial Baptist Church.
Motown luminaries were expected to attend, including Stevie Wonder, who performed, along with local and state leaders. The church's livestream of the proceedings can be watched in the video player above.
Fakir, the last of the original Four Tops, died July 22 at age 88. He formed the Motown act with three teenage friends in the 1950s.

The funeral was open to the public.
“He loved the city. He never left for the suburbs. He stayed in the community,” daughter Farrah Fakir Cook of the decision. “He would want to be celebrated by the people and community who loved him.”
