LAWRENCE — Kansas softball has earned the opportunity to face Oklahoma on Thursday in the quarterfinals of the Big 12 Conference tournament in Oklahoma City.
The No. 7-seed Jayhawks (28-24-1) captured a 6-5 win Wednesday against No. 10-seed Houston in the opening round. The No. 2-seed Sooners (46-6) had a bye to this round. Earlier this season, Kansas suffered a sweep against Oklahoma in Lawrence.
