How To Watch The Game Awards 2023 – Start Times And Stream Links

The biggest gaming awards show of the year, The Game Awards, are almost upon us, and it’s promising to be packed with announcements, strange ads, fast food promotions, and at some point, awards will be given out too. It’s a big part of the gaming landscape, even if it is one of the more corporate-first events in the industry, and millions will be tuning in to watch Geoff Keighley take the stage to wave at his bestie Hideo Kojima, who might be showing off a new Death Stranding game.

If you want to subject yourself to the monolithic games show, you’ll need to know how and when to watch it, and thankfully, we’ve got you covered there. We’ll give you all you need to know about The Game Awards 2023’s start times, and provide you with some handy stream links so you can tune in.

The Game Awards 2023: Start Times

Much like previous years, The Game Awards will start its preshow at 4:30pm PT on December 7, 2023, with the main show kicking off at 5pm. Keighley says that the show was aiming for a similar length as last year’s awards, which aimed for 2.5 to 3 hours and ended up running for three and a half. We’d expect a similar runtime here, so make sure you’re loaded up on snacks.

As with most major gaming events, The Game Awards 2023 will be streamed on both Twitch and YouTube. Some events in the past have seen the show stream live to Twitter as well, but given the hot mess of that website right now, we expect that probably won’t happen this year.
