Watch Da'Vonne Rogers Hatch a Devious Plan on 'The GOAT'

'The GOAT' cast competes in a '70s-themed challenge

Only one episode of The GOAT has aired. But, true to a show that throws together some of the biggest characters from various reality series to prove who is the best of them all, it's already off to the races. Before the fourteen stars of the Amazon series had time to put their bags down, alliances were made, friendships were tested, and the first elimination of the season ended in a blindside. And we're just getting started.

Each episode of The GOAT follows the same structure. There is an initial individual challenge, where the winner is crowned "The GOAT" of the episode. They then choose their teammates for the next challenge, which has the contestants facing off in two groups. The winning team (plus the GOAT) is safe, while the losing team is all up for elimination. All the players then vote for someone to be evicted from "GOAT Manor." It's a simple enough concept, which is why Big Brother and The Challenge standout Da'Vonne Rogers is already thinking one step ahead.

In the sneak peek clip above, Da'Vonne sits down with 90 Day Fiancé's Paola Mayfield to outline her newest plan. She has her sights set on Justin Johnson (AKA RuPaul's Drag Race legend Alyssa Edwards) as her next target. And it seems like Da'Vonne has won "The GOAT" in this time, giving her the power to pick teams. And so, rather than picking a group that will guarantee the people around her safety, she's planning to do the exact opposite.

"I have to have Justin out of my life," Da'Vonne tells Paola in the clip. "So I'm gonna throw it. Jill's gonna throw it. And I'm gonna need you to throw it too."

Da'Vonne's plan is simple. She puts her target in Justin on her team. Then she, Paola, and Real Housewives of New York star Jill Zarin throw the challenge to guarantee he isn't safe. Once that's confirmed, she can hopefully get the numbers to get rid of him. Rounding out the team would be Love is Blind's Lauren Speed-Hamilton and FBoy Island's CJ Franco, both of whom would be none the wiser about the plan.

"What's the Plan B?" Paola asks, stunned at the audaciousness of the plan.

After taking a lengthy pause, Da'Vonne replies, "There is no Plan B."

As we hear in Paola's talking head, she's torn. While The GOAT has been playing hard from the get-go, throwing a challenge has been seen as taboo to some of even the most seasoned competitors. "I feel like I want to try to play honestly with everybody," Paola remarks. "But if I go against Da'Vonne, I can be the next one. And that cannot happen."

Will Paola go through with Da'Vonne's request? Will Day's plan be successful, leaving Alyssa to be told, "Sashay away"? Check out the clip above for the full sneak peek. The GOAT premieres with its first three episodes on Thursday, May 9 on Prime Video and Freevee.
