How to watch the Cleveland Browns vs. Houston Texans wild card NFL playoff game

The Cleveland Browns are set to play their first postseason game since the 2020 season against the Houston Texans Saturday, Jan. 13, 2024.

The wild card weekend showdown will be both the second playoff berth of the Kevin Stefanski era, and just the second time the Browns have reached the postseason since losing to the rival Pittsburgh Steelers in the wild card round back in January 2003.

Cleveland's run to the playoffs looked somewhat improbable earlier in the season as QB1 Deshaun Watson dealt with nagging injuries. Backup QBs saw the bulk of the action up until Watson underwent season-ending shoulder surgery.

Of course, veteran quarterback and Super Bowl winner Joe Flacco entered the fray, righted the ship and did enough in the pocket to guide Cleveland back to the playoffs down the stretch with ample help from Cleveland's stout defense.

The Browns' return to the playoffs against Houston is scheduled to kick off Saturday, Jan. 13 at 4:30 p.m. ET.

The Browns will be playing on the road in Texas at NRG Stadium.

The game will be televised on NBC, which fans can watch with a cable login or a reliable over-the-air antenna.

Note that DirecTV subscribers could have trouble watching the game due to a carriage dispute with TEGNA.
