Watch: New Big Ten 'Maps' commercial released featuring USC, UCLA, Oregon and Washington

They’re finally all in the Big Ten fold.

USC, UCLA, Oregon and Washington officially joined the Big Ten on Friday, August 2, ending months of anticipation since the league first announced its west coast expansion plans more than two years ago.

It makes the Big Ten an 18-member league that spans from coast-to-coast and led to the elimination of divisions in football starting this fall. But their formal arrival also comes with a caveat many fans have been wondering about since the moment USC, UCLA, Oregon and Washington were added to the league – the release of a new Big Ten “Maps” commercial.

The ad has been a popular staple on television broadcasts of games involving conference teams ever since the Big Ten expanded its footprint to Rutgers, Maryland and Nebraska a decade ago.

The new version has the same music and many of the same visuals as the previous one. But this time it begins in the Pacific Northwest with Washington and Oregon. The video then travels to Southern California for USC and UCLA, then heads to Nebraska and the traditional Midwest core of the league, before eventually finishing up on the East Coast with Rutgers and Maryland.

Expect to see it any time you tune in to a Big Ten broadcast over the coming months and years. Watch it here:
