You Can Watch The Ark Animated Series On Paramount Now

If you’ve been waiting for the Ark Animated Series release date on Paramount+, you don’t have to wait anymore. Lost Continent Entertainment shadow dropped the survival game adaptation series’ first six episodes on Paramount’s streaming platform in the U.S. and Canada over three years after the studio teased it at The Game Awards 2020, though if you live elsewhere, you’ll have to wait until April 19, 2024, for your dinosaur fun.

The Ark Animated Series Part 2 includes seven episodes and will air sometime later in 2024, though there’s no firm date for it yet.

The Ark Animated Series is loosely based on the survival game series of the same name. It follows modern paleontologist Madeleine Madden (The Wheel of Time) after she’s transported thousands of years into the past and finds herself on an island populated with strange pre-historic beasts and other misfits thrown back in time.

Those misfits include characters voiced by David Tennant (Dr Who); Russel Crowe (Gladiator); Michelle Yeoh (Everything, Everywhere, All At Once); Elliot Page (Umbrella Academy); Gerard Butler (Phantom of the Opera); Jeffrey Wright (American Fiction); and Vin Diesel (Fast and Furious).

The Ark Animated Series is just the latest in a continuously growing string of video game adaptations, everything ranging from The Last of Us to Twisted Metal and Gran Turismo. Another high-profile adaptation is just around the corner as well. The Fallout series begins airing on Amazon’s Prime Video on April 12, 2024.
