Washington has one of the most breathtaking places in the country for hiking trails, according to a new Yelp report.

Mount Rainier National Park was named among Yelp’s list of the “ten most breathtaking hiking trails across the U.S. and Canada.”

To find the country’s most breathtaking hiking trails, Yelp identified businesses in the hiking category and ranked them based on the total volume and ratings of reviews.

Mount Rainier is among three national parks in the state, including Olympic National Park and North Cascades National Park.

Mount Rainier National Park is home to the state’s tallest mountain and active volcano, Mount Rainier, and it has more than 260 miles of hiking trails.

And Yelp reviewers agree the park has many breathtaking views.

“Once at sunrise just about any hike you choose from the many available will be breathtaking,” one reviewer wrote.

The mountain itself has left reviewers and visitors in awe.

Mount Rainier ranks darn near the top of the most incredible and beautiful spots I’ve ever been. The namesake will take your breath away the first time you see it,” another reviewer wrote.

The park is filled with hiking trails for all abilities.

Visitors have plenty of hikes to choose from, including strenuous trails with lots of elevation gain or short and easy trails through meadows with mountain views.

Autumn is also now bringing colorful leaves to the park.

Vine maples are turning orange in the lower elevation forests, while in the subalpine meadows huckleberry bushes are sifting to red,” the national park wrote on Instagram.

Fall colors can be spotted at Paradise, an area in the park with a picturesque meadow.

The national park costs $30 per vehicle to visit and lasts seven days.
