Wantage man identified as victim in fatal Sussex County car crash

A crash on County Road 565 in Frankford Township left a man dead after he lost control of his vehicle, ventured off the roadway and struck a tree, police said.

Wantage resident Scott Reider, 68, was pronounced dead at a local hospital after he sustained serious injuries in Monday's crash, according to state police. Police responded to the crash at about 10:35 a.m.

State trooper Troy McNair reports that the collision remains under investigation.
