Fourth round, pick No. 115: TE, Cade Stover, Ohio State

Stover has an established Ohio fan base after winning the Ohio Mr. Football Award in 2018 as a running back/safety at Lexington High School before spending five seasons with the Buckeyes in Columbus.

There were whisperings that the Bengals could've drafted Georgia tight end Brock Bowers with the 18th overall pick if he dropped that far. Ultimately he was snagged by the Raiders at No. 13 and the Bengals haven't addressed the position yet in the draft. Stover had 77 catches for 982 yards and 10 touchdowns over the last two seasons at Ohio State.

Stover's versatility makes him valuable in a possible special teams role and if you really wanna get crazy, he did play linebacker at Ohio State early in his collegiate career.

Fifth round, pick No. 149: RB, Jaylen Wright, Tennessee

Yes, it would be a shock if Wright drops all the way to this spot considering some projections had him going late in the third round. But the Bengals should be in the market for a backup running back and Wright could easily slide into that role if he plummets on Saturday.

Speed kills. Maybe the Bengals go all-out with a track team at skill positions? Third-round pick Jermaine Burton led the SEC in yards per catch last season. Wright ran the second-fastest 40-yard dash among running backs at the NFL Combine and his dual-threat ability (22 catches last season) makes him valuable.

Sixth round, pick No. 194: LB, Jaylan Ford, Texas

ESPN NFL Draft Analyst Matt Miller compared Ford to current Bengals linebacker Logan Wilson. That's enough to pique Cincinnati's interest considering Wilson signed a four-year extension last summer. Ford is another prospect with great athleticism (fifth at the NFL Combine in the broad jump) on top of his knack of finding the football. Ford had six interceptions and three fumble recoveries over the last two seasons with the Longhorns. The Bengals also don't have a lot of depth at linebacker.

Sixth round, pick No. 214: G, Jarrett Kingston, USC

The Bengals already have a Phi Slama Jama-style lineup on the outside of the offensive line. Now, they could beef up the middle. Pundits rave about Kingston's speed and ability to get to the second level during zone-blocking schemes. His strength's not bad, either. Kingston ranked second among offensive lineman in the bench press during the NFL Combine, pumping out 32 reps. Sounds like one of Frank Pollack's glass-eaters already.

Seventh round, pick No. 224: QB John Rhys Plumlee, UCF

At first glance, a seventh-round quarterback might just be a camp arm for an elite group of receivers. However, Plumlee is the ultimate Swiss Army Knife. He threw for over 4,800 yards and 29 touchdowns over the last two seasons at UCF. Prior to that, he ran for over 1,000 yards as a freshman at Ole Miss in 2019. Two years later with the Rebels, he caught 19 passes for 201 yards. There's a lot of ways to make a 53-man roster. It'd be fun to see if Plumlee could do it in Cincinnati.

Seventh round, Pick No. 237: S, Tyler Owens, Texas Tech

Owens made headlines during the NFL Combine because he said he he didn't believe space was real. That's not important. What is important is Owens was part of The Athletic's Bruce Feldman's Top-25 Freaks List (No. 16) after recording a 12-foot-2 broad jump at the NFL Combine, the second-longest at the event in the last two decades.
