Walking Dead star Chandler Riggs lands next movie role
The Walking Dead's Chandler Riggs is about to play a hacker in a new horror-comedy film.
Owen Atlas (Little Evil), Collin Thompson (Breathing Happy) and Augie Duke (Mayans MC) are all attached to star in director Shane Brady's movie, too, which is titled Hacked.
Brady himself and producer Emily Zercher's own experience partially inspired the story, while much of Hacked is a fantasy in how they could've dealt with the "bastard" that hacked them.

A synopsis reads: "Hacked follows the story of a family who loses everything to a prolific and elusive hacker, aptly named 'The Chameleon'.
"Parents Amy (Duke) and Mark (Brady) have $20,000 stolen, and their kids Ralph (Atlas) and Freddy (Thompson) get their entire digital lives hacked — social media, video game items, even their pointless online homework!
"When the bank, social media platforms, and law enforcement aren't able to help, the family takes matters into their own hands."
It soon becomes clear that the children of the family, who have a passion for murder documentaries, are the only people who are able to take the hacker down.

Per Variety, it's reported that Hacked will soon begin production in Los Angeles thanks to an interim agreement by SAG-AFTRA amid the union's strike.
Riggs is particularly excited about the project, which comes about five years after he bowed out of his role as Carl Grimes on AMC zombie drama The Walking Dead.
On landing the part of hacker 'The Chameleon' in Hacked, he shared: "This is such a fun story that I can't wait to be a part of. Shane and his whole team have been so great to work with so far, and I absolutely love indie films like this one. Can't wait to get back to work!"
The Walking Dead aired on AMC in the US and STAR on Disney+ in the UK.
