Walking Dead and Avengers' Ross Marquand joins Tuesday's Flu
The Walking Dead and Avengers star Ross Marquand has landed his next lead role in upcoming movie Tuesday's Flu.
The crime thriller, which also stars Watchmen's Jackie Earle Haley and 9-1-1's Daniel Roebuck, follows a compulsive gambler called Jason McCutchen (Marquand) who becomes indebted to an unsympathetic bookie.
He is offered a way out by Lester Smalls (Haley) with one last shot, though the risk is he could lose his son in the gamble, according to Deadline.

'Tuesday's flu' is a term used by bookies when gamblers conveniently disappear after a weekend's losses. The movie is also being directed by Roebuck, with Stephen and Brian Parri writing the screenplay.
Marquand is perhaps best known for playing Aaron in The Walking Dead, and also appeared as Red Skull in Avengers movies Infinity War and Endgame.
Late last year, the actor addressed the possibility of returning to the MCU in the future, saying he was open to the idea.

"I can neither confirm nor deny [whether he'll return]," he told ComicBook. "But I would very much jump at the chance. I'm a comic book guy."
Last year, Marquand also responded to comparisons between his Walking Dead character and Rick Grimes, especially after he adopted some of the latter's storylines in the show, admitting he tends "to stray away from the comparisons between" the two.
"I think they're such vastly different characters that there's no saying that this person's going to get this person's storyline just because there's a few similarities here and there," he added.
Tuesday's Flu begins filming next month, with a release date yet to be confirmed.
