Wabash football quarterback Liam Thompson gets invite to NFL rookie camp

Liam Thompson is moving from the Little Giants to the Giants.

Several reports indicated former the Wabash quarterback will take part in the New York Giants minicamp next month.

Thompson started at Wabash for four seasons, completing 65% of his passes for 11,149 yards and 102 touchdowns, both second in program history. He also rushed for 1,747 yards and 31 TDs.

"He's a tough grader on himself and knows, senior year, he wants to win every game and be productive. Nobody puts more pressure on himself than Liam," Wabash coach Don Morel said heading into the 2023 season.

The 6-1, 197-pounder played at North Central High School, setting the Panthers' career passing record.
