Voters asked to project what will be the regular-season fate of the 2024 Minnesota Twins?

This week, the Minnesota Twins will officially hit the midway point (at least based on games) of the 2024 season.

Currently, the Twins are 43-35 and in second place in the American League Central, 7.5 games behind the Cleveland Guardians.

If the season had ended Sunday, the Twins would have qualified for the playoffs as the second of three wild-card teams in the American League. The catch is , seven other teams are within 5.5 games of the Twins with a lot of season remaining.

That's why this week's poll question asks the Public Opinion readers what they believe the fate of the 2024 Minnesota Twins will be.

Voting runs through Sunday at 11:59 p.m.

Last week's poll asked readers to decide if they were in favor of or again the NIL (Name, Image and Likeness) policy that has taken over college sports and is also hitting the high school ranks.

Most votes said the NIL is a bad deal and will hurt college sports and eventually high school sports.
