Vote for the top Memphis area girls wrestler ahead of the postseason

As the Tennessee high school girls wrestling season enters the postseason, it's time to look at some of the top athletes in the sport from the Memphis area.

Vote for your choice for The Commercial Appeal's girls wrestler of the year ahead of the postseason. You can chose from 10 on the list. Here are the wrestlers in consideration.

Allie Barker, Arlington: Barker placed first in the Memphis Girls Open in the 100-pound weight class earlier this season. She also has a fourth-place finish in the Rossview Lady Hawks Invitational and a first-place finish in the Tiger Tussle.

Maddie Jones, Bartlett: Jones took second in the Memphis Girls Open in the 126-pound class and first in the Dragon Classic in the 132-pound class.

Janelle Su, Collierville: Su has four top three finishes this season, including a first-place finish in the Dragon Classic, second place in the Memphis Girls Open and third place in the Maher/Garstin Battle for Indy, all in the 114-pound weight class.

TOP PERFORMERS: Memphis area high school basketball top performers for Week 11 of the 2023-24 season

Morgan Gilley, Millington: Gilley has placed top four in every event this season, including first-place finishes in the Tiger Tussle and Dragon Classic. She also has third place finishes in the Red Hawk Rampage and Memphis Girls Open, both in the 145-pound weight division.

Alina Cline, Munford: Cline has a second-place finish in the Franklin Admiral Invitational in the 145-pound class this season. She also has third place finishes in the Tiger Tussle and Tullahoma Garner-Dyer Girls Invitational.
