Vote: Who is the SARTA Athlete of the Week for April 15-21?
It's time to take a look at the standout high school performers from Stark County for the past week.
Your vote will determine who will be the SARTA High School Athlete of the Week for April 15-21. We will pick one girl and one boy. Each athlete's credentials are listed above the poll — which will be live until 5 p.m. Thursday. The winners will be announced Friday morning on CantonRep.com.

Here's a look at the girls nominees, in alphabetical order:
Amaharie Harsh, Hoover track and field
Swept the girls 100, 200 and 400 meters and ran on Hoover's winning 800 relay at the Stark County Track and Field Championships. Won the 400 for the fourth straight year. Set a meet record in the 200 with a winning time of 24.68 seconds. Named girls sprint MVP of the meet.
Caroline Metzger, Northwest softball
Hit two home runs, scored three times and had four RBIs in a 12-9 win over CVCA.
Sophia Ngetich, GlenOak track and field
Helped the Golden Eagles win the girls team title and extend their unbeaten run to start the season at the Stark County Track and Field Championships. Won the 800 and ran on GlenOak's winning 1,600 and 3,200 relays.
Marlee Pireu, Perry softball
Hit a game-winning, two-out, RBI double in the bottom of the eighth to beat Jackson 3-2.
Daniela Scheffler, Lake track and field
Named girls distance MVP after she won the 3,200 and was runner-up in the 1,600 at the Stark County Track and Field Championships.
Lexi Tucci, Sandy Valley track and field
Named girls field MVP at the Stark County Track and Field Championships. Won the long jump and tied for second in the high jump.
Madison Vardavas, Hoover lacrosse
Scored seven goals in a 20-5 win over St. Joseph Academy.

Ryan Aljancic, Louisville baseball
Struck out seven and pitched a one-hit shutout in a 5-0 win over Dover.
Preston Breit, Perry baseball
Struck out 13 and pitched a complete-game shutout in a 1-0 win over Hoover.
Colin Cernansky, Marlington track and field
Won the 800 and 1,600 meters at the Stark County Track and Field Championships. Named the boys distance MVP.
Bo Davis, Alliance baseball
Went 2-for-3 with a home run and three RBIs in a 5-3 win over West Branch.
Julius Kimbrough, Canton South track and field
Named the boys field MVP at the Stark County Track and Field Championships. Won the high jump and finished third in the long jump.
Landon Thiel, Jackson baseball
Threw a no hitter in a 3-0 win over Walsh Jesuit
Jayden Wilson, Perry track and field
Helped lead the Perry boys to their second straight team title at the Stark County Track and Field Championships. Won the 400 and ran on the Panthers' winning 1,600 relay. Also finished second in the high jump.
