With just under a month left to go in the high school spring sports season, Eugene-area athletes continue to record top performances.

This week's Register-Guard Athlete of the Week nominees are:

  • Reagan Kumle, Springfield softball

  • McKenzie Larsen, Churchill girls tennis

  • Trison Hedges, Thurston boys golf

  • Aiden Hibler, North Eugene baseball

  • Anthony Angelastro, Marist boys golf

  • Francesca Tomp, North Eugene girls golf

  • Camille Gamble, Thurston girls golf

Reagan Kumle, Springfield softball

Senior Reagan Kumle hit a double, three RBIs and scored a run in the Springfield Millers' 10-3 win over Ashland.

McKenzie Larsen, Churchill girls tennis

Churchill junior McKenzie Larsen picked up two wins at No. 1 singles, defeating North Eugene's Sasha Lambirth, 7-5, 6-0 and Willamette's Jillian Booth, 6-0, 6-0.

Trison Hedges, Thurston boys golf

Thurston senior Trison Hedges shot a two-day score of 162 to finish in second place at the boys 5A Midwestern League District Championships. Thurston won the team title and was an automatic state qualifier.

Aiden Hibler, North Eugene baseball

Freshman Aiden Hibler had four hits, three RBIs, and two runs scored in the Highlanders' 2-1 series win over Crater.

Anthony Angelastro, Marist boys golf

Marist senior Anthony Angelastro shot an 81 to finish in third place at the Shadow Hills Marshfield Invitational. Marist won the team title.

Francesca Tomp, North Eugene girls golf

North Eugene junior Francesca Tomp shot a two-day score of 152 to win the girls 5A Midwestern League District Championships. North Eugene won the team title and was an automatic state qualifier.

Camille Gamble, Thurston girls golf

Thurston sophomore Camille Gamble hit a hole-in-one at the girls 5A Midwestern League District Championships and recorded a two-day score of 215.
