Addy Burns, Boyne City basketball
Only a freshman who started the season on JV, Burns is turning into a key varsity player for the Ramblers and had 13 points vs. TC St. Francis and 13 points and a game-winner vs. Kalkaska last week.
Hudson Vollmer, Charlevoix basketball
Vollmer just continues to be consistent for the Rayder boys, helping them pick up a victory over TC St. Francis for the first time in a few years with 20 points and four assists.
Nick Timm, Petoskey hockey
Timm has had some strong showings this season and last week came as one of them against Gaylord, when he made 19 saves in a shutout in goal in a 4-0 win.
Corin Paulus, Harbor Light basketball
Paulus continues to get the dirty work done in the post for the Swordsmen and kept them atop the Northern Lakes race with 13 points and 10 rebounds in a victory over Alanson.
Bayani Collins, Charlevoix basketball
Teammate Abbey Wright continues to put on a show this season, but Collins saved her best performance for a week ago with 15 points and six rebounds in a victory over Kalkaska.
Trystan Swanson, Mackinaw City basketball
The breakout star of the Mackinaw City boys this season, Swanson stayed hot last week with 21 points in a win over Maplewood, along with 16 points in a win over Alanson.
