Welcome to the 10th installment of the Seacoast high school Athletes of the Week for the 2023 fall season, presented by York County Community College.

This week, and in weeks to come, you can vote for a girls athlete of the week and a boys athlete of the week.

This week's poll is for outstanding athletic accomplishments during the week of Oct. 30-Nov. 5.

How do I cast my vote?

Voting can be completed through the two ballots listed below. Voting closes at midnight Thursday, Nov. 9.

How do we learn who wins?

Winners will be announced in a story published on Friday, Nov. 10 at seacoastonline.com and fosters.com.

BOYS ATHLETE OF THE WEEK NOMINEES

Tyler Hussey, Marshwood, football

Marshwood quarterback Tyler Hussey fakes a handoff to Landon Waterman and runs up the middle during Tuesday's Class B South quarterfinal game in South Berwick, Maine.

Hussey scored the go-ahead touchdown on a quarterback sneak in last Tuesday's Class B South quarterfinal as the Hawks defeated Gorham, 27-26.

Hussey ran for 78 yards on 10 carries and a score, and completed 7 of 11 passes for 93 yards and a touchdown pass.

Sean DeLello, Exeter, football

Exeter's Sean DeLello is tackled in the secondary by Keene's Peyton Gowell (10) and Colin Tinnin (28) during Saturday's Division I first-round game.

DeLello scored three rushing touchdowns and ran for 61 yards on nine carries as Exeter defeated Keene, 31-13 in the Division I first round this past Saturday.

Declan Healy, St. Thomas Aquinas, football

Healy had a 43-yard interception return for a touchdown in the fourth quarter in the Saints' 21-7 Division II quarterfinal win over Sanborn this past Friday night.

Ryder Aubin, Dover, football

Aubin had a total of five touchdowns — three on the ground and two passing — in the Green Wave's state Division I tournament first-round loss to Bishop Guertin, 56-42, on Saturday night. Aubin scored on runs of 1, 2 and 7 yards and threw TD passes of 43 yards to Ben Allen and 22 yards to Brady McInnes.

Evan Whalen, Oyster River, soccer

Whalen had eight saves, including two huge saves in a matter of seconds, in the Bobcats' 1-0 loss to Lebanon in the Division II semifinals.

GIRLS ATHLETE OF THE WEEK NOMINEES

Allie Moore, Berwick Academy, soccer

Allie Moore
Allie Moore

Moore, a goalkeeper, earned two shutouts last week against two reigning New England Prep School Athletic Council finalists — New Hampton and Brewster. The senior captain had 18 saves against Brewster. She has helped secure a combined 13 shutouts this season while splitting time in net.

Carys Fennessy, Dover, golf

Dover's Carys Fennessy follows through with an approach shot during Tuesday's Division I tournament at Canterbury Woods Country Club.

Fennessy won the New England Girls High School championship with a score of five-under-par 67 in last Tuesday's tournament up in Connecticut. Fennessy's score of 67 was a six-stroke lead in front of the second-place finish of 74.

Katherine Dornan, St. Thomas Aquinas, soccer

Dornan scored on the game-clinching penalty kick in last Wednesday's Division III semifinal that sent the Saints to the D III state finals, which the Saints ended up winning on another game-clinching penalty kick made by Dornan.

Cary Drake, York, cross country

York's Cary Drake competes in the Maine Class B indoor state track championship Monday in February at Bates College in Lewiston, Maine. Drake won the 800, mile and two-mile, helping the Wildcats to their first indoor state track title in 13 years.
York's Cary Drake competes in the Maine Class B indoor state track championship Monday in February at Bates College in Lewiston, Maine. Drake won the 800, mile and two-mile, helping the Wildcats to their first indoor state track title in 13 years.

Drake covered the 3.1-mile Troy Howard Middle School course with a first-place time of 18 minutes, 8.47 seconds as the Wildcats captured first place overall.

Haley Kavanagh, Oyster River, cross country

The Oyster River High School girls cross country team had two runners in the top three and won Saturday's Meet of Champions at Alvirne High School.
The Oyster River High School girls cross country team had two runners in the top three and won Saturday's Meet of Champions at Alvirne High School.

Kavanagh, a junior, finished second overall in Saturday's NHIAA Meet of Champions, with a time of 17:56.36, helping lead Oyster River to a first-place finish.
