This week’s winner is:

Kona Resseau, Sound Christian boys basketball — He led the Lions with 17 points in a 61-52 regional win over Riverside Christian, punching Sound Christian’s ticket to the 1B state tournament in Spokane.

Amare Breedlove, Annie Wright boys basketball — Scored a team-high 18 points and added eight rebounds in a 74-55 win over Toppenish in the 1A state regionals to send the Gators to the state quarterfinals.

Brendon Brown, Chief Leschi boys basketball — Scored a game-high 23 points for the Warriors in 68-41 win over La Conner to send Chief Leschi to the 2B state tournament in Spokane.

Julia Carter, Enumclaw gymnastics — Won a 3A/2A/1A state championship in the individual competition in the vault (9.65).

Monique Carter, Emerald Ridge girls basketball — Scored a game-high 23 points in 67-58 regional upset win over top-seeded Woodinville, sending the Jaguars through the 4A state tournament quarterfinals at the Tacoma Dome.

Andrew Collins, Tumwater boys basketball — Led the T-Birds with 18 points in 63-48 regional win over Foss to send Tumwater to the 2A state tournament in Yakima.’

Olivia Collins, Sumner girls basketball — Scored 15 points in 58-46 regional loss to Eastlake.

Keiara Curtis, Bellarmine girls basketball — Scored a game-high 30 points in Bellarmine’s 73-43 regional round win over Mount Si.

Oliviyah Edwards, Lincoln girls basketball — Scored 20 points in 80-68 regional loss to Mead in Spokane.

Parker Gerrits, Olympia boys basketball — Scored a game-high 19 points in 67-54 regional win over Skyline.

Hope Hassmann, Tahoma girls basketball — Scored a game-high 29 points — including 23 first-half points — in 86-59 blowout win over Davis in state regional.

Brooklyn Hicks, Timberline boys basketball — Scored a game-high 33 points in 83-51 loss to Garfield in 3A regional round.

Vivian Kingston, White River girls basketball — Scored a team-high 11 points in 51-45 upset regional win over No. 2 Lynden to send the Hornets through to the 2A state tournament quarterfinals in Yakima.

Will Landram, Gig Harbor boys basketball — Scored 22 points in a 69-60 loss to Shorecrest in the 3A regional round.

Aaliyeh Martin, Annie Wright girls basketball — Scored 22 points in 48-40 regional round win over College Place.

Kari McCarty, Puyallup gymnastics — Won a 4A state championship in the individual competition in the vault (9.775) and co-championship in the beam (9.325).

Sadie McKune, North Thurston gymnastics — Won a 3A/2A/1A state co-championship in the individual competition in the bars (9.475).

Jaylen Petty, Auburn boys basketball — Scored a game-high 31 points in 63-61 loss to O’Dea in 3A regional round.

Dace Pleasant, Federal Way boys basketball — Scored a team-high 20 points in 69-56 regional win over Gonzaga Prep on Friday.

Kona Resseau, Sound Christian boys basketball — Led the Lions with 17 points in a 61-52 regional win over Riverside Christian, punching Sound Christian’s ticket to the 1B state tournament in Spokane.

Noah Seabrands, Enumclaw boys basketball — Scored a team-high 14 points in 49-33 regional win over Ridgefield to send the Hornets to the 2A state tournament in Yakima.

Jazmyn Shipp, Bonney Lake girls basketball — Scored a game-high 23 points, pulled down 22 rebounds, had seven assists and two steals in Bonney Lake’s 59-55 regional win over Kennewick to send the Panthers to the 3A state tournament in the Tacoma Dome.

Madison Sorenson, Sumner gymnastics — Won a 4A state championship in the individual competition in the floor (9.500).

Thad Tenkley, North Thurston boys basketball — Scored 16 points in North Thurston’s 51-34 win over West Seattle to send the Rams to the 3A state tournament this week in the Tacoma Dome.

Charlee Torgison, Enumclaw girls basketball — Scored a game-high 17 points in Enumclaw’s 58-47 win over Columbia River to send the Hornets to the 2A state tournament in Yakima.

Devin Whitten, Curtis boys basketball — Scored a game-high 20 points for Curtis — including six 3-pointers — in 64-55 win over Richland in a 4A regional contest on Friday.
