Here are the candidates in alphabetical order:
Gabe Bock, Bedford baseball: Threw a no-hitter with 10 strikeouts.
Rylie Cassette, New Boston Huron soccer: Notched a hat trick in a 9-0 rout of Allen Park.
Kamryn Clifton, Bedford girls soccer: Scored the tying goal and finished with two goals and an assist in a tie against Adrian, then notched a goal and an assist in a win over Ypsilanti Lincoln.
Lauren Dunwoody, Carlson softball: Went 4-for-4 to help her team get off to a 3-0 start.
Matt Foor, Airport track and field: Set a school record in the discus with a throw of 170-5.
Mike Giroux, Flat Rock baseball: Went 4-for-4 with 4 RBI in a victory over Jefferson.
Kenzie Gray, Whiteford track and field: Won the shot-put and was part of the winning throwers relay in the Whiteford Bobcat Legacy Relays.
Quinton Lephew, Dundee baseball: Drove in the go-ahead run in the top of the ninth inning, then picked up a save as the Vikings rallied to beat Clinton.
Jack Mills, Airport baseball: Belted two home runs and drove in six runs during a rout of Riverview.
Payton Pudlowski, Bedford softball: Collected 10 hits, 8 RBI and 2 home runs in six games.
Addi Ramsby, New Boston Huron softball: Came through with a three-run triple in the sixth inning to snap a 9-9 tie as the Chiefs came back from a 7-1 deficit to beat Flat Rock.
Marisa Rostash, Monroe tennis: Won the No. 1 singles title in the Woodhaven Spring Quad.
Teegan Simmons, Monroe boys track and field: Won the shot-put and discus in a tri-meet Tuesday, then took the same two events Friday in the Belleville Tiger Relays.
Madalyn Spencer, Milan softball: Clubbed a pinch-hit home run to carry her team past New Boston Huron.
Jillian Webb, Whiteford: Came through with a two-run single in the sixth inning to give her team a 3-2 win over Trenton.
Brady Weirich, Bedford boys lacrosse: Scored two goals, including one with 5 seconds remaining that tied the game, Monday against Tecumseh, then won 95 percent of his faceoffs and logged an assist Friday against SMCC.
Jackson Zachary, Carlson baseball: Delivered a two-out, two-run single in the seventh inning to help Nick McGuire win is first game as coach of the Marauders.
Peyton Zajac, Airport softball: Went 4-for-4 with a home run to lead a win over Erie Mason.
