VOTE for the North Jersey Lacrosse Player of the Week for May 20-26

After a fun start to the high school lacrosse playoffs, it's time to look back on the best performances.

Read about the players who stood out last week and let us know who you think should be the North Jersey Player of the Week in the poll at the bottom of this page.

Voting closes at 6 p.m. Thursday.

Parker Dupuis

Glen Rock senior

The Panthers' midfielder was all over the scoresheet on Thursday when he had three goals and three assists in an opening-round win over Lenape Valley. Dupuis added 12 ground balls and went 10-for-14 in the faceoff circle.

Matthew Hogan

Ridgewood senior

Hogan tilted possession for the Maroons by going 12-for-13 on the draw and getting 11 ground balls in a first-round victory over West Orange. He won all 16 faceoffs in Ridgewood's regular-season finale on Tuesday.

Jose Martinez

River Dell senior

Martinez came up with a season-high 26 saves on 31 shots to lead the Golden Hawks to an 11-over-6 upset against Voorhees in the opening round. In the 8-5 win, he surpassed 700 career saves.

Cooper Roberts

Tenafly senior

Roberts stepped up on Wednesday with five goals and three assists to send Tenafly past Wayne Valley and into the North Group 3 quarterfinals. The Scranton commit now has a hat trick or more in five games this season.

Mia Nardi

DePaul senior

Nardi finished with 15 saves on 21 shots for the Spartans in their first-round win over Holy Cross Prep. It was DePaul's first state tournament victorysince 2011.

Isabella Pedone

Saddle River Day junior

Pedone tied a season-high in points on Friday after racking up six goals and five assists in the Rebels' opening round win. She had five goals and two assists earlier in the week against Old Tappan.

Ella Saxon

Pascack Valley junior

Wednesday was a milestone day for Saxon, who hit 100 career goals in a home win over Old Tappan. She wound up with two goals and an assist in the match to help the Panthers advance to the second round.

Alexis Toro

Westwood junior

Toro was North Jersey's top goal-scorer of the opening round after burying nine shots on Lakeland in a winning effort. She also chipped in one assist, four ground balls and seven draw controls.

Maddie Willkomm

Northern Highlands junior

The California commit set a pair of career highs with six goals and 10 points on Wednesday against Whippany Park. In the win, Willkomm clinched her third straight 40-goal season.
